Thought-provoking and political, it is the startling landscapes and breathtaking scenery that will capture your imagination.
The classic backpacker movie, The Beach is based on the novel by Alex Garland and tells the story of Richard (Leo DiCaprio) and his search for a mythical beach paradise in Thailand. Everything is not quite as idyllic as it seems, but it the cinematography is enough to make you believe such a life could be real.
Eat, Pray, Love
Eat, Pray, Love is the story of all of us who want to travel and experience the world. Liz (Julia Roberts) decides to take a break from her usual life for a year and travel to Italy, India and Bali. The sights and sounds of this movie give you a glimpse of a round-the-world adventure.
The Darjeeling Limited
Directed by Wes Anderson, this movie takes you on a train ride across India with three brothers. Starring Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody and Jason Scwatrzman, it’s a quirky, off-the-wall comedy which showcases the beauty and adventure of train travel and India.
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty
Ben Stiller is Walter Mitty, a daydreamer whose very ordinary life is turned upside down as he adventures to Greenland, Iceland and the Himalayas on a mission to find a photograph negative. With a killer soundtrack and awesome visuals, this movie will make you believe you can do anything.
