10 Companies for Teaching English Online Without a Degree

If you’ve been looking at job adverts for teaching English as a Foreign Language, you might have become disheartened if you don’t have a degree. Many jobs list having a Bachelor’s degree (in any field) as a requirement for their job applicants. This is usually because it is a requirement in that country to have a Bachelor’s degree to qualify for a work permit or visa. You would even have found something similar when applying for online jobs.

But fear not! If you don’t have a degree but you do have a 120-hour TEFL qualification, there are still many options available to you – even online. Here, let’s look at 10 companies for teaching English online without a degree.

  1. Hi I qualified through the TEFL Academy doing the 120 hr TEFL course in 2017 passing with a distinction. Although I have tutored privately in English to English children since then, I haven’t used my TEFL course one of the reasons being that my internet was not fast enough – this has been remedied. I have kept ALL my notes and will go through them again to recap in order to teach on-line. However, I am very nervous to get started as although I know Zoom and Skype, I would like to know what tools do I need. Do I need to be in a room that has some sort of Board behind me on which to write, pin up pictures etc. or will all that assistance and advice be given to me once I make an application? Please advise. Thank you
