Teach Young Monks in Thailand

Volunteer Overview

This programme provides you with a unique opportunity to teach young monks in Thailand as well as an insight into local Thai life!

Ancient palace ruins, iconic Buddhist imagery and a hearty slice of provincial Thai life is what we are offering you for this incredible programme! The Ayutthaya province is situated 1 hour north of Bangkok. Ayutthaya is Thailand’s temple-festooned, super-chilled previous capital. There’s nowhere quite like it in the whole of Thailand. Backpacker hotels, bars and restaurants line either side of the meandering Chao Praya but when get past all this and you are in old Siam. Crumbling palaces, saffron-clad stupas and headless Buddha statues make for a surreal experience as Ayutthaya province lives and breathes its 700-year history in tremendous style!
