I recently completed an intensive TEFL Level 5 Diploma course online as a personal development initiative. Completing the course within six weeks, I effectively managed my study and learning hours to integrate seamlessly into my routine. To ensure academic excellence, I dedicated additional time to conducting research to achieve optimal marks and deepen my understanding of teaching English as a foreign language.

I achieved second place in my class after graduation from my makeup course. Additionally, I won the annual SFX Makeup Competition. Throughout the program, I studied a variety of subjects including Body and Face Painting, Character Makeup and Facial Hair, Casual Effects and Prosthetics, Makeup in Fashion and Beauty, Entrepreneurship, Media Makeup as a Career, Professional Practice, Makeup Techniques, Makeup in TV and Cinematography, Historical Hair and Makeup, Working in Theatre, and Work-based Learning in 2017.

During my high school career, I excelled academically and athletically. I achieved a 100% allocation for my final Fine Art and Engineering Graphics and Design Project Examinations, becoming the first student to receive a perfect score for the Engineering Graphics and Design Project. Additionally, I ranked 3rd overall for Engineering Graphics and Design in my graduating year. I was also an active netball player, securing second and first place in the Western Cape Schools Netball League. Beyond academics and sports, I volunteered at the CROSS Society, where I provided support to new students, helping them adapt to school life and offering Christian-valued counsel.

As the Remote Social Media Manager for Ariel Wellness, I oversee and manage all social media platforms, create engaging content, develop and execute social media strategies, and monitor analytics to enhance the brand's online presence. My role involves content creation, scheduling posts, community engagement, and tracking performance metrics to ensure effective communication and growth across social media channels.

I experienced increased creative autonomy in my role, collaborating directly with architects to craft aesthetically pleasing homes. Simultaneously, I managed new development plans and navigated the intricacies of council submissions. I dedicated time to self-study to enhance my skill set, becoming proficient in utilizing Lumion and Corel Draw. These newly acquired skills empowered me to produce captivating 3D renders of upcoming projects and design compelling brochures, showcasing the vision and potential of our developments.

Weddings are a significant part of my career, keeping me busy most weekends as I create breathtaking looks for brides. It's immensely fulfilling to contribute to such cherished moments. Beyond weddings, my talents extend to collaborating with photographers on diverse projects, adapting to different environments and even being selected as a makeup artist for an award-winning film. I've explored various facets of makeup and hairstyling, including maternity and portrait photography, and I hold a particular fondness for prom season, where I unleash creativity for young clients. Alongside my artistic endeavours, I'm dedicated to assisting fellow professionals and empowering clients through one-on-one lessons, deriving immense joy from seeing their confidence grow.

During my employment, I underwent rigorous in-house training under the guidance of seasoned senior architects, complemented by active participation in program launches and tutorials. My primary focus was honing my skills in preparing intricate drawings and projects tailored to meet the exacting standards set by the senior architects. Throughout this journey, I immersed myself in understanding the national and council-building rules and regulations. As a testament to my growth, I earned the privilege of independently managing projects, showcasing my capability to execute tasks with precision and expertise. The positive client feedback and valuable referrals further attest to my dedication and proficiency in the field.
