The Master of Education degree specialized in adult education and included a TESOL internship at Miyagi Gakuen Women's University in Sendai, Japan. Full training resulting in Arizona state board teaching certification was completed through Northern Arizona University's prestigious Center for Excellence in Education (one of the best teacher training programs in the country). The concurrent Master of Arts degree in Psychology focused on counseling and health psychology / behavioral medicine, resulting in state licensure as a professional counselor.

The Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree started with completing a dual degree two-year transfer associate degree program through Cochise Community College in southern Arizona, USA. I was an active member of the Psi Chi honor society.
