Experience
I am a subject leader and am tasked to develop curricula suited for
different learning levels for teaching various aspects of English.
I taught English Home Language, AP English, and Life Orientation
to students in grades 8–11. I have extended my impact beyond the
classroom by leading extra-mural activities like robotics and
debate, harnessing my passion for cultivating critical thinking and
teamwork skills. Additionally, my leadership roles involved serving
as Grade Head as well as the subject leader for English.
I collaborate closely with Course Coordinators and Lecturers to
design and execute weekly lessons, in addition to evaluating tasks,
assignments, and examinations assigned to students.
This role involved organizing examination scripts, verifying the
accurate allocation of marks, and ensuring the integrity and
completeness of all scripts. Additionally, I handled the scanning
and inputting of marks for each candidate.
Accreditation & Quality Assurance
The TEFL Academy was the world’s first TEFL course provider to receive official recognition from government regulated awarding bodies in both the USA and UK. This means when you graduate you’ll hold a globally recognised Level 3 (120hr) Certificate or Level 5 (168hr) Diploma, meaning you can find work anywhere and apply for jobs immediately.
