    As the saying goes “The youths are the future of our nation,” therefore it is of the utmost importance that the right education is provided. Hence, we have established a reputation for recruiting the best teachers, and pride ourselves in the satisfaction of our teachers' needs as to promote the optimum performance.

    • Be available to be placed as a substitute teacher at various Odysee Education partner schools, either for urgent needs or scheduled replacements.

    • Teach subjects according to the curriculum and standards set by the partner schools and Odysee Education.

    • Be able to teach at various educational levels, including Primary, Junior High School, and Senior High School, as required by the school.

    • Adapt teaching methods to ensure effective learning, including using interactive and technology-based teaching strategies when necessary.

    • Create a conducive learning environment by applying effective classroom management and maintaining good communication with students.

    • Utilize and adjust available teaching materials or develop additional resources if needed to support the learning process.

    • Report student progress and any challenges faced during the teaching process to both the school and Odysee Education.

    • Coordinate with the academic team and partner schools to ensure continuity in learning when replacing regular teachers.

    • Design learning curricula tailored to the needs of partner schools and the academic standards set by Odysee Education.

    • Develop teaching materials, syllabi, lesson plans, and other learning tools that can be used by both Odysee Education teachers and partner schools.

    • Align curricula with national and/or international education standards as per school policies.

    • Conduct research on the latest education trends, including innovative teaching methods that can be integrated into curriculum development.

    • Manage academic documentation such as student progress reports, assessment plans, grading rubrics, and other academic records.

    • Collaborate with the academic team to develop more effective learning programs that align with school needs.

    • Provide recommendations for curriculum improvements or refinements based on evaluations of learning effectiveness.

    • Conduct regular classroom observations of Odysee Education teachers to assess teaching quality and curriculum implementation.

    • Provide constructive feedback to teachers regarding their strengths and areas for improvement in their teaching methods.

    • Prepare teacher performance evaluation reports based on predetermined parameters, including pedagogical aspects, student engagement, and teaching effectiveness.

    • Collaborate with the HR and academic teams to offer professional development and training for teachers to enhance their teaching quality.

    • Assist in developing training modules for new teachers and mentoring those who need skill improvement.

    • Identify training needs based on evaluation results and recommend relevant professional development programs.

    • Actively participate in planning and implementing academic quality improvement programs at Odysee Education to maintain high teaching standards.

    1. Competitive Salary
    - Our salary is typically higher than other language institutions. The average salary of our teachers is equivalent to managerial positions in banks, with half the working period
    - Salary starting from 800 USD - 1500 USD depending on placement and qualifications
    2. Accommodation allowance
    - On top of salary, we also provide monthly housing & transport allowance that is enough to afford a full-furnished apartment in prime locations. We have a team to help facilitate your relocation
    3. Company-sponsored working permits
    - Work without worry by getting all the necessary legal working permits sponsored by the company!
    4. Paid Holidays
    - Approximately 20 days of paid holiday (December and January) + 15 observed Indonesian public holidays
    5. Bonus
    - Upon the completion of an academic year, one-month salary will be given as a bonus. Extra bonuses will be offered if some certain criteria have been achieved

  • Requirements
    - Native level English speaker
    - TEFL level 5
    - Bachelor’s or Master degree in an English Language discipline will be prioritized, however possessing teaching certificate may exempt the Bachelor's or Master degree requirement
    - Agree to a criminal background check
    - Healthy, and free from diseases and drug abuse
    - Committed for 1 academic year(Ready to work under a minimum of 10 month contract)
    - Professional attitude (Discipline/punctuality, attire, communication)
    - Genuine interest in teaching
    - Adaptable, cooperative, sociable, and energetic
    - Culturally sensitive
