DescriptionA full-time TEFL teaching position is available at the British Institutes Acqui Terme.
This involves 25 teaching hours per week . The position will last ten months from the 10th of September until June and will involve teaching both adults and children.
Monthly net salary is 1000-1100 (for the guaranteed 25h a week, this is possible to increase with more teaching hours). Accommodation can be provided (at a cost of around 300 a month for a one bedroom apartment with separate living room/kitchen in the city center within walking distance from the school).Teacher development is guaranteed throughout the year with initial training, an induction period, regular observations, feedback and regular contact with the Director of Studies.
About the school
At The British Institutes Acqui Terme we are an intimate but friendly team. Our courses include general English, European-Funded Courses for adults, exam preparation, English for young learners and business English. We also deliver some external courses to primary, middle and high schools in the local area (walking distance).
Acqui Terme is a small but picturesque city in the north of Italy. It is surrounded by vineyards but at the same time close to both the sea and the mountains. The major cities of Milan, Turin and Genova are all less than 1h 45 minutes away. -

Requirements
- Level 5 TEFL certificate
- Fluent in English: native speaker
- Bachelor’s Degree: A University degree (preferably a Bachelor of Arts)
- Teaching Experience: no teaching experience required. Some experience with children aged 6-10 very welcome
