DescriptionThe Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan is seeking qualified and passionate English TEFL Language teachers to support a national effort to strengthen foreign language instruction across public schools.
This is a unique opportunity to teach in a historically rich and culturally vibrant region of Central Asia while making a direct impact on the next generation of global communicators.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective English to students aged 1116
- Teach up to 20 academic hours/week plus 6 hours of extracurricular activities (ECAs)Conduct 2 hours/week of professional development workshops for local teachers.
- Follow the approved national curriculum (e.g., Cambridge Prepare for English)
- Adapt teaching methods to student proficiency levels using interactive, student-centered learning
- Collaborate with local co-teachers to encourage knowledge-sharing and cultural exchange
- Administer assessments and maintain performance records
- Promote discipline, inclusivity, and a positive classroom environment

Requirements- Bachelors degree
- TEFL Level 5 certificate for English
- C1 proficiency in the language of instruction (if applicable)
- Strong adaptability, professionalism, and classroom management skills
- Minimum 6-month full-time commitment required
