A. Job brief
- Teach General English to Vietnamese adults on Topica's platform
- Location: 100% online
- Expected start time: You can select one of these options: Feb/ Mar/ Apr 2023
- Work hours:
  - Class duration: 45 minutes/ slot;
  - Flexible teaching time: 8:00 • 23:45 (GMT•7) | 16 teaching slot per day
  - Estimated number of classes per month: 40 • 60 (~10 -15 classes per week)
- Class size: 1x6 or 1x3
- Pay rate (Before TAX): $9.4 • $15.0 per 45 minutes
B. Responsibilities

> Pre-class
- Register month’s availability and provide sufficient teaching hours as required
- Check teaching schedule and notifications from Topica frequently
- Preview lesson slides and lesson plans carefully
>In class
- Join assigned classes/ conduct substitute teaching when needed
- Follow provided lesson plans and presentations to teach students general English skills
- Correct pronunciation; grammar mistakes for students
>After class
- Complete class feedback

Requirements

1. Technical Requirements At least macOS: 10.9 / Windows: 10 Professional, 64 bit Hardware: At least RAM: = 8 GB AND CPU: 4 cores OR Clockspeed at least: 1.8 GHz; Internet bandwidth: Ping<20ms; Upload > 20Mbps; Download > 30Mbps (Please check at https://www.speedtest.net/) Have a webcam; headphone and microphone 2. Education & Training A Diploma/ University Degree English Language Teaching Certificate (TEFL/ TESOL/ CELTA) 3. Skills, Abilities, Experience Achieve advanced English proficiency level Has a minimum of one to three years of English teaching experience. Online teaching experience is an advantage 4. Other Teachers can teach from 8:00 to 11:45 on Sat and Sun (GMT+7) is an advantage. Should be a team player; highly disciplined; proactive and tech-savvy.
