- And connect you with a worldwide community of teachers, trainers, and recruiters
With two focused tracks, one for those new to TEFL and one for those looking for jobs, this event gives you the insight, confidence, and direction to move forward.
United World Schools (UWS) is a UK-registered charity working to ensure children living in the world's most remote and marginalised communities have access to quality and inclusive education. The charity collaborates with local communities and governments to build schools, train teachers and strengthen education systems. To date, UWS has opened a total of 311 new schools, trained over 1,500 teachers, and given educational opportunities to more than 63,000 previously out-of-school children across Cambodia, Myanmar (Burma), Madagascar, and Nepal. We, The TEFL Academy, have partnered with UWS since 2021. During that time, our students’ donations helped to build and maintain UWS Kanpur school in Nepal. Currently, there are 165 students enrolled at UWS Kanpur, from kindergarten to Grade 8. There are 13 teachers currently teaching at UWS Kanpur School. You can contribute to the cause here.
Becoming a speaker is not open for everyone. We exclusively reach out to a few select speakers with proven experience in the field of TEFL. This approach ensures that we only have individuals who have considerable experience in their craft. If you’re a current or former teacher, an influencer with a significant following or an author in the field and would like to share your experience and knowledge about a particular subject you feel you understand and have first-hand experience on, then you can reach out to us on marketing@theteflacademy.com and we may consider your application.
