Instructions are an important part of your EFL lesson. If your students misunderstand your instructions or do not know what they need to do, you will waste time and energy.
Of course, your instructions need to be clear and simple. Bad instructions are even worse than no instructions!
Instructions should be short and sweet. You should repeat them a few times, and do a demonstration if necessary. Finally, you should use instruction checking questions to make sure your instructions were understood.
