PPP in the classroom

PPP stands for Presentation, Practice and Production. It is a widely used structure for lesson planning.

Presentation is the stage where the teacher presents the meaning, form and pronunciation of the language structure in question.

In the Practice stage, the students are given a task to practise the structure in a controlled form.

The final Production stage is when the students produce the language in a free context.
