A journalist who wrote a new story as a teacher Paloma Tiba
Good day Ladies and Gentlemen. My name is Lucia Villani Breedt, I am now 56 years young and I couldn't miss this opportunity to send you some information about my wonderful experience after completing my TEFL course in August 2019 in South Africa.
Before my experience as a teacher, I was selling motor cars in various Agencies throughout my life and was very unhappy as it wasn't my passion. My dream was to teach English in Italy and in doing so after my great experience with The TEFL Academy course, which was amazing to attend, I applied for work at various schools in Italy as I am an Italian citizen and speak Italian very well, It didn't take me long and I was accepted in a town in the Basilicata region of Italy called "Potenza". It so happened that I also have family here and it was an opportunity that I couldn't miss. Since February 2020, just before the Pandemic hit Italy, I started working at the "Yes school" in Potenza (which is also part of the Cambridge English qualification as well as the BIT "Business Innovation Training",) where I was warmly accepted with open arms and to this day am very happy in my position here. "The YES SCHOOL" is a private school and we accept students of all ages and also prepare our students for the Cambridge exams, which are held here on the premises yearly.
The TEFL Academy has helped me tremendously as I have applied every single part of my learning to my students and have noticed a huge positive difference in my student's ability to grasp the information given. The hunger in my students to learn English and to speak it well is so rewarding to me at the end of the day. My plan for the near future is to carry on Teaching a language like English as long as I can because in the world we live in today I find that there is a great need to learn and to teach English and how can I not share my privilege as an English teacher with others in need. We are so blessed to have this language. My advice to anyone wanting to do the TEFL course is to "Just do it". It was a great experience for me. And lastly, I would just like to add that my motto in life is "If you can dream it you can do it".
Dreams do come true......Goals in life are reachable.....and with the help of The TEFL Academy, you can also do it.
