Education
This is an internationally recognised TEFL qualification designed to prepare you to teach English to non-native speakers. The course includes 168 hours of training and is regulated by Ofqual at Level 5 on the UK’s Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), making it equivalent in level to a foundation degree or CELTA.
This course covers key areas such as English grammar, lesson planning, classroom management, teaching methods, and how to teach students of different ages and levels. It combines online learning with optional in-person or virtual classroom training. This course allows you to teach English abroad, online, or in English language schools around the world.
A postgraduate degree providing in-depth legal knowledge and research skills and this course covers advanced topics in law, with the option to specialise in areas I choosen human rights and that's where I develop expertise in legal theory and critical analysis, with a dissertation typically focused on a specific legal issue, such as body modifications.
A Qualifying Law Degree providing a comprehensive foundation in English law and legal systems. I have studies core areas include Contract Law, Criminal Law, Public Law, Tort Law, Land Law, Equity and Trusts, and EU Law.
The course develops key legal skills such as legal research, analysis, advocacy, and problem-solving, preparing graduates for careers in legal practice.
Experience
To support pupils with English as an Additional Language (EAL), including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), to access the curriculum, participate fully in school life, and make progress in their learning and language acquisition. The role involves working closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and EAL coordinators to adapt learning activities and provide targeted intervention.
Key Responsibilities
Support EAL pupils, including those with SEN, both in-class and through targeted withdrawal sessions.
Assist pupils with accessing and understanding lesson content by adapting language, using visuals, and simplifying instructions.
Support the development of pupils' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in English.
Work one-to-one or in small groups with pupils who have additional learning needs.
Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and deliver differentiated activities.
Implement strategies outlined in pupils' EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans) or Individual Support Plans.
Promote inclusion and positive behaviour in line with the school’s behaviour policy.
Help develop pupils’ social and emotional skills, confidence, and independence.
Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents where appropriate.
Liaise with external agencies (e.g. speech and language therapists, educational psychologists) as directed.
Support in the assessment of pupils’ English proficiency and learning needs.
Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
• Supporting students with a wide range of SEN: including those with SEMH.
• Observe children to find out changes in behavior or in other areas
• Clarifying and explaining instructions
• Ensuring the pupil can use equipment and materials provided
• Motivating and encouraging the students as required by providing levels of
individual attention, reassurance and help with learning tasks as appropriate to
student’s needs.
• Assisting in weaker areas, e.g. speech and language, reading, spelling, numeracy,
handwriting.
• Using praise, commentary and assistance to encourage the pupil to concentrate
and stay on task.
• Communicating with class teacher regarding student progress.
• Providing additional support to individuals when requested by the class teacher.
• Helping to make appropriate resources to support the students.
