Konner Kiesel

Graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Music Education and Theatre from Midland University. Actively engaged in the arts community as a music director, choreographer, and performer, while earning multiple honors, including the Performing Arts Lifetime Achievement Award and Vocal Music Student of the Year. Presented research at the Spring Research Fair and completed the Howard Hanson Honors Program with a senior project titled From Bach to Beyoncé: Enhancing Engagement in the Vocal Music Room.

Teach English to students aged 12–74 from over 30 countries across 6 continents, with proficiency levels ranging from A2 to C2. Deliver General English, Advanced Vocabulary & Grammar, and Music & Lyrics I & II courses, utilizing engaging, student-centered methodologies. Serve as South Korean group sponsor for the Culture Fair, fostering cultural exchange and global awareness.

Taught Guitar, Drama I & II, Treble Choir, Mixed Choir, Show Choir, and Preparatory Band, fostering student growth across a variety of musical and theatrical disciplines. Choreographed and assistant directed the school musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, guiding students in performance preparation and creative expression. Conducted ensembles for contests and show choir competitions, emphasizing teamwork, discipline, and excellence in performance.

Taught general music, choir, and guitar club to over 500 K-5 students weekly in a dual-language program, instructing in both English and Spanish. Developed engaging lessons to support musical growth while fostering cultural inclusivity for a diverse student population, including many immigrant and refugee families. Created a welcoming environment that celebrated diversity and encouraged self-expression through music.
