Education
In March 2013, I started studying at my hometown university. Because of personal reasons, I had to start to work mostly full time and I had to put it on hold for a while, but I was able to complete it in 2021 and even start teaching while I was still a student.
Experience
Since the outbreak of the pandemic, I started teaching English online still working for the company I had been working with. I quit in 2021 when I moved to the US but I have continued teaching to my own private students in Argentina and around South America.
For over a month in 2019, I taught English to fifth graders. This was part of my university's teaching training program. I was constantly supervised during this time but I had complete autonomy in terms of lesson planning and methodology and I was also in complete control of the class even though I was being observed.
I joined the company in October 2017 to substitute for a teacher and I ended up working for it for 4 years. I started teaching adults, which I loved the most, and eventually started teaching teenagers and school-aged children as well. The company offered constant training opportunities and lesson plans were checked regularly as well.
Accreditation & Quality Assurance
The TEFL Academy was the world’s first TEFL course provider to receive official recognition from government regulated awarding bodies in both the USA and UK. This means when you graduate you’ll hold a globally recognised Level 3 (120hr) Certificate or Level 5 (168hr) Diploma, meaning you can find work anywhere and apply for jobs immediately.
