This post graduate qualification allowed me to further my career in education. I developed a further understanding of the theories surrounding and underpinning education, and had plenty of practical experience teaching primary school aged pupils (5 - 11).

This course allowed me to begin my career in education. I studied the theories underpinning education and had practical experience in teaching pupils in secondary education (11 - 16).

Ensuring the academic, personal and social growth of all the children in my class by planning and delivering good quality teaching and learning opportunities.

 Consistently reflecting on my own skills allows me to seek out opportunities to develop these further.
 A subject leader for music across the school during my first year, and science during the following two years.
 Developing connections with colleagues in my school and others, working collaboratively to develop the children’s education across various subject areas.

 Accepted a maths leadership position for my second year of teaching.

Supporting the class teacher with preparation and supporting pupils learning within the classroom and in intervention sessions.

Ensuring great customer service and supporting customers at the tills and around the shop
 Deliver excellent customer service to ensure a great shopping experience for all

 Operating the till and accurately handling cash and card payments
