- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I got much more than I bargained for in the two days of attending the classroom element classes. Everything was intertwined as an experience and a lesson. From the icebreaker through to questions and feedback at the end. Things I hadn't even considered were brought to my attention and I believe I have realistic expectations about what it means to be a TEFL teacher now and I still want to continue.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Trainer? A. If Carmen had suggested that we continue the class for another week, I believe I wouldn't have been the only one to jump at the opportunity. She literally made friends and acquaintances of a whole class full of strangers. There's nothing I didn't understand or struggled to understand either from her explanations or with the help of my fellow students. She was very friendly, very open, always in control of the class and she has the most infectious laugh
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Trainer? A. The teacher was very fun and active. She made the lesson enjoyable by tackling all aspects and she took time to make sure that everyone understands the topic before moving to the next one. The teacher was energetic and she did not show any favouritism amongst the students, she helped everyone with a smile and passion and she made sure that everyone participates in the course. She explained the grammar lesson very well to an extent that l got more and clearer understanding of it. I enjoyed the lesson very much.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. With regards to the interactivity and participation required in putting theory already learnt into practice. The course is extremely motivating and allows peer to peer exchange and teacher to class presentation work. This module allows a very much hands-on, confidence gaining approach to present one's specific aims to groups. Through seeing, acting and physically animating the teaching comes very much alive!
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Trainer? A. The trainer was prepared, organised, and specifically clear in their presentation skills and giving of instructions. Stage presence, experience and passion oozed out through their confident and professional explanations. They demanded respect through credibility, the use of interactivity and intelligent humour. The subtelty in their comptetent mastering of patience is especially necessary to mention. Adapting to to all levels, ages and backgrounds and the giving of motivational feedback greatly encouraged a positive and dynamic atmosphere within the classroom. I was seeking to physically see in context and in action and furthermore have the opportunity to practically perform all that I had learnt theoretically from the online course. By the end of the intensive weekend training, my objectives to be confident and motivated in both lesson planning and classroom presentation stages were significantly met.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I was extremely satisfied with the classroom element because we were only a limited number of students so our teacher could really monitor us and give instant feedback. Moreover, our teacher Tom was a great teacher. He explained and discussed all the topics with us and gave us enough space to think for ourselves as well. Because of his experience of being a teacher for years now it was a real great experience to ask him about in class situations and how to handle them.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Trainer? A. Tom was very motivating and gave good feedback, reflecting on elements to improve and elements one already did well. Moreover, he was open to discuss on the spot topics from the class. It was a great experience to get in touch with such a great and experienced teacher.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the webinar course? A. The information was very clear, relevant and, informative. However, it was the skill and professionalism in which it was imparted by Angie, that made the information easily understood. Angie brought some Aha moments to teaching skills.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Trainer? A. Angie was knowledgeable about all of the areas presented - she used her personal experiences to bring further understanding to the topics - she was able to listen to each person's needs and explain in a way that they could easily understand. In other words, she listened to our individual needs.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I felt the Tefl instructor for the course, was patient, knowledgeable and kept the course fun and interactive. I learnt many different tea Jing methods, how to make lessons interactive and exciting. Overall it was very enjoyable.
