She was both friendly and approachable, as well as had all the characteristics to firstly create a bond with us as students within such a small timeframe. She was able to share many of her own experiences as a teacher which helped us understand why certain areas are important/covered in the course. There was a huge amount of work to cover, but it was done in a way that was not overwhelming or rushed. I honestly cannot fault her on anything.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. Right from the beginning my instructor was kind, inclusive and welcoming. There was not one moment where I felt uncomfortable or did not benefit from the content presented. I walked out each day feeling confident about myself and being grateful for the lessons I was taught. The lessons brought me close to understanding what is expected of me as a TEFL teacher and opened my eyes to so much more I could learn in terms of teaching skills and my own knowledge about the English language. There was an incredible level of synergy and harmony. The instructor was patient with every single one of us.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Trainer? A. Rentia was amazing. As mentioned, she provided so much knowledge and was so welcoming and encouraging and gave great constructive criticism that helped improve my skills.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. Luan was an incredible lecturer. We were constantly engaged with the material and she made the whole course very fun. The teaching practice really helps you to learn how to engage students in the classroom and her compliments and critique were both extremely valid. It really did help to have someone who is passionate about what they do lecturing.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. It was such an insightful and informative course. I was extremely happy with the instructor and her energy. The content of the course allowed me to peace together the different course topics much easier and to translate that into an everyday action of planning and teaching. I feel motivated and excited for the next modules and assignments ahead.
