- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I honestly think ten. I cannot think of anyway in which I can fault it. What pleased me the most about the whole experience was the balance of participation from both the teacher and the attendees. It was a nice, invigorating, challenging and motivating learning environment, where we all contributed and asked a lot of questions, and sometimes helped each other answer questions we might have already known. The course structure itself was especially helpful, since the details of our group pair applications, enabled us to form an idea on how it would be and feel, teaching in an actual classroom setting, which for some, is the avenue they hope to be moving towards. I find this really helpful and also confidence-boosting: I discovered I have a lot more skills and capabilities than I otherwise would doubt or deny even existed. Harvey was patient and friendly throughout and overall, it truly was such fun; I only wish it was longer! Thank you very much!
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. Harvey was amazing! He was great! He included all attendees and made us feel welcome; at first, we all had those expected nerves that occurs when meeting for the first time; but everyone was such a lovely bunch and with the help of Harvey, we all got along so well and learnt so much from each other! Harvey gave us all the opportunity to ask and even, at times, challenge the questions, which is important because this is how true clarification on a content can be achieved. He was kind and patient and honestly just really fun and engaging; it's no wonder he has has TEFL experience for over 30 years I believe! Thanks to Harvey, we have all become good friends and are hoping to keep in contact with each other to see, and help with our future aspirations. #Team TEFL! - Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The weekend’s facilitator, Rene did a terrific job. She approached each day with the energy and enthusiasm that we would have to convey to our own students when teaching. She really ‘showed’ us and didn’t just lecture. I have a lot more insight and knowledge now of what it takes to teach EFL, as well as some of the things I can expect when I go overseas.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. As stated before, Rene’s tutoring is commendable! She approached each session with energy and enthusiasm and was an exemplary teacher. It allowed me to see exactly what is required to be a good and effective teacher. Rather than telling us, ‘do this or do that’, she showed us through her own teaching.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The tutor was extremely professional. The location was excellent. The course was informative. I was able to answer all questions I had so I now feel confident starting the online modules.

Everything was pulled together in the course, it just made everything from the online aspect of the course fall into place and become concrete in the mind, there is only so much a computer screen can do in terms of getting the information across to the student but the classroom practical was the missing piece that brought it all together for me, gave me greater insight into what being an EFL teacher would do.

Honestly such a cool teacher, she had us focused yet entertained all day long, her energy was contagious and she made English fun, any questions we had, she gave a well worded answer that brought closure and always gave constructive feedback in terms of our performance on tasks. Highly recommend her for other courses in the future yet to come.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. Excellent teacher/facilitator. Focused lessons and good momentum to sessions (time passed quickly). Excellent balance of teacher talk and student practice. Practical, motivating, enjoyable activities, but also provided a high level of rigour to prepare students. Provision of time for students to practise teaching lessons was excellent. Working in pairs and groups helped the students to bond and really benefit from each others' experience. Overall, a fantastic experience. I left the course on a high, feeling motivated, excited and knowledgeable about teaching English. Thank you so much :)
