She is honestly one of the most experienced teachers I have ever come across, and the experiences and wisdom she had to share were amazing. I also loved the fact that she had a sense of humour, which helped lighten the immense amount of information to absorb during the 20 hour course.

- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I honestly think ten. I cannot think of anyway in which I can fault it. What pleased me the most about the whole experience was the balance of participation from both the teacher and the attendees. It was a nice, invigorating, challenging and motivating learning environment, where we all contributed and asked a lot of questions, and sometimes helped each other answer questions we might have already known. The course structure itself was especially helpful, since the details of our group pair applications, enabled us to form an idea on how it would be and feel, teaching in an actual classroom setting, which for some, is the avenue they hope to be moving towards. I find this really helpful and also confidence-boosting: I discovered I have a lot more skills and capabilities than I otherwise would doubt or deny even existed. Harvey was patient and friendly throughout and overall, it truly was such fun; I only wish it was longer! Thank you very much!
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. Harvey was amazing! He was great! He included all attendees and made us feel welcome; at first, we all had those expected nerves that occurs when meeting for the first time; but everyone was such a lovely bunch and with the help of Harvey, we all got along so well and learnt so much from each other! Harvey gave us all the opportunity to ask and even, at times, challenge the questions, which is important because this is how true clarification on a content can be achieved. He was kind and patient and honestly just really fun and engaging; it's no wonder he has has TEFL experience for over 30 years I believe! Thanks to Harvey, we have all become good friends and are hoping to keep in contact with each other to see, and help with our future aspirations. #Team TEFL! - Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. Although the online study suits me for being able to learn while i am working I really felt my understanding of what tefl is about and how to approach real teaching situations has leaped forward during this weekend. Judy modelled at all times excellent and diverse teaching methods from the moment we arrived until the last activity. I really enjoyed meeting other people and learning together.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. It was evident that Judy really knows her stuff. She made people feel at ease, packed in a lot of information by getting us to work things out ourselves, experiment and learn in many different ways. I mentioned on the previous page that she modelled many aspects of teaching throughout the course. Just by observing how Judy organised the materials and the activities and involved us in our own active learning I feel like I learned a lot.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. It was informative - I felt I've picked up a lot of hints and tips which may not be in the online units, it had elements of humour (thus making it less formal and not boring), it had a good level of interaction and the facilitator on the day kept good order with regards to the 'class loud-mouth' (there's always one) and dealt with the class 'I-know-more-than-the-teacher' guy very well, with answers to everything that was getting thrown at him! It pushed me out of my comfort zone and gave me useful insight into my own abilities. It was also great to get feedback from the other class members too - it built my confidence. It also gave me insight into what I need to work on in terms of presenting to a class. It was great and exceeded my expectations.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. He was the perfect mix of good-cop, bad-cop! He passed on a lot of useful information regarding his own experiences which was helpful. It's always good to get some useful hints and tips from someone who's 'been there' in the real world, rather than just reading facts from a book.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The tutor was extremely professional. The location was excellent. The course was informative. I was able to answer all questions I had so I now feel confident starting the online modules.
