The lessons are organized in a logical and progressive manner, with ample opportunity to check what has been learnt and to consolidate it all. If you have never taught before, the units on how to prepare lessons are a great help; and even for those with experience, they serve both as a benchmark to assess whether changes need to be made to one’s teaching method, and as a valuable tool for organizing one’s work.
I also really appreciated the links to external websites offering practical resources, as well as food for thought and points for discussion. I also find the feedback on the assessments to be very precise and believe it provides further ideas for improvement and progress. Finally, knowing that I can continue to access the webinars and materials within the units is a significant bonus.
I haven’t yet taken advantage of the bonus lessons on artificial intelligence and online teaching, but I have no doubt that these will prove useful too.
This course has been a wonderful journey for me, allowing me to refresh my knowledge of certain aspects of English that had become a little rusty, and I thank you for everything.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom course and your TEFL trainer? A. I did attend a class. The class was conducted very well. It exemplified many of the core principles taught in the course, like breaking students into groups, but mostly eliciting learning from the students by asking questions to guide the students to where the teacher wanted them to go.
