- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Trainer? A. She covered everything I needed to know and was open to discussing other things that I didn’t understand and she was very patient about it
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. Putting the theoretical training from the course to use in actual practice teaching was a valuable next step. In addition, it was valuable to see our instructor (a college professor) skillfully involving 14 students from varied backgrounds and educational levels while providing them with a positive experience.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Trainer? A. She was thoroughly knowledgeable about the subject matter and had substantial teaching experience in multiple contexts. Our class contained both native and non-native English speakers, some of whom did not have a college degree and some of whom had graduate degrees. The Trainer successfully engaged and involved all of the students, offering positive feedback and suggesting alternatives that might have been more useful. It appeared that all of the students had a positive experience and gained enhanced knowledge of what is required of a TEFL instructor.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. It was more than what I expected. The class was interactive, fun, and informative. It shed a little light on what it takes to be an ESL teacher. Being inexperienced in the teaching field, the class helped me gain more confidence and reassurance that I will become better with time. The classroom course gave me some of the tools I will need in my future endeavors.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Trainer? A. The trainer was very interactive, friendly, very informative, and took the time to answer all the student's questions. She gave us feedback that helped improve our presentation skills. We received tips on good class management, different teaching techniques, and being more comfortable and confident in the classroom.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I felt that I was conducted in a safe environment .The teacher was extremely well prepared and made the course exciting and fun . I learnt a great deal and now that confidence to go out and teach.
