DescriptionBLS idiomas is a friendly language school looking to hire highly motivated, enthusiastic EFL professionals. We are in El Porvenir, a lovely centrally located neighbourhood with easily accessible transport links around the city of Seville.Â
14 • 17 teaching contact hours/week, Monday to Thursday, from mid-September until the end of June. Â
Normally classroom teaching is between 4:00pm-9:50pm Monday to Thursday. Â
There might be the possibility, if the candidate is interested, of adding further hours. -
Benefits- Gross salary: This depends on the number of teaching contact hours/week and the length of each month
- Paid induction
- Teacher support: We work as a team, sharing ideas. Teachers can borrow books and resources from the school. Each term teachers are given an academic guide to follow, which includes class contents, resources, projects and topics. Textbooks are also used in class as well as other materials. We have team meetings and attend external training seminars. We carry out formal, informal and peer observations
- Vacation: proportional to the time worked according to law (includes several days during the Fair). Also, two weeks at Christmas and one week at Easter. Local, autonomous and national vacations
- Contract: The teacher will have a "contrato indefinido fijo discontinuo" with a probationary period of 2 months; they will be registered in the Social Security System, according to Spanish regulations. An optional medical check will be offered -
Requirements- Candidates should be English speakers, EU passport or Spanish NIE/TIE (if UK) holders with a university degree and a recognised TEFL qualification
- Accredited TEFL Certificate
- At least 1 years’ experience teaching most of these levels is necessary: very young learners, kids, adolescents, adults, as well as experience with Cambridge exams (KET, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE).
- Teachers are to have well-prepared, organised classes. Strong classroom management skills and empathy towards younger age groups are essential. We look for teachers who take interest in and care about the progress of their individual students. -
