Experience
The school is a private institution. The international department (which I belonged to) used an American curriculum. I was employed as an international homeroom teacher, initially teaching English as a second language and later teaching English language and grammar. My duties were to facilitate the learning of students; create student-centered lesson plans; incorporate technology such as interactive whiteboards; instruct and inspire students to reach their potential; record student achievements; provide scaffolding and assistance to weaker students; mark students' assessments; provide weekly feedback to parents; organize and participate in extracurricular activities such as chess club; and prepare students for examinations. I taught Grade 1,2 and 3.
