My program at this university is both language taught and research based. I am doing chemistry (organic synthesis) and will be graduating at any time from now. Until now, I have been able to pull three publications with some others waiting to be submitted.
The basis behind my work is to design new reactions, make them work and characterize the emerging products. This is immediately followed by scope expansion, gram-scale preparation, transformations and mechanistic studies. Carefully prepared manuscripts afterwards are then submitted for publication.
Experience
Involved in the design of new chemical reactions, data characterization, manuscripts preparation and submissioning of manuscripts for publication.
I also assist undergraduates in their academics by providing valuable and relevant, constructive criticism which helps them produce optimal results.
