Volunteering as English Tutor for Ukrainian Refugees and Displaced People in the United Kingdom and those remaining in Ukraine. Mainly conversation classes of up to two hours every Saturday, via Google Meet, Zoom, WhatsApp or whatever works for those in Ukraine with difficult access to online teaching methods due to power plants being bombed and infrastructure destroyed. This teaches me an entirely new level of flexibility and inspires me to think outside the box re. lesson plans and what is possible/impossible to expect or offer.

The TEFL Academy was the world’s first TEFL course provider to receive official recognition from government regulated awarding bodies in both the USA and UK. This means when you graduate you’ll hold a globally recognised Level 3 (120hr) Certificate or Level 5 (168hr) Diploma, meaning you can find work anywhere and apply for jobs immediately.
