Description
Having successfully run our own IELTS academy in Seoul(HoHo Language School), Korea for over six years, we recently launched a speaking tutorial platform to enhance IELTS Speaking part with native tutors.

We specialize in teaching IELTS writing, listening, and reading primarily to Korean students. We are currently in the early stages of launching our online speaking academy, so we would like to hire warm-hearted and competitive tutors.

We have two types of sessions:
1. Regular Class (according to student's level)
  - Duration: 40 minutes
  - Tutor Payment per Class: 22,000 KRW (to be transferred to the tutor, the first 10 sessions will be 20,000KRW)
2. Trial Class
  - Duration: 20 minutes
  - Tutor Payment: 12,000 KRW (to be transferred to the tutor)
We mainly cater to three levels of students: basic, those currently band 5.0-5.5 and those at a band 5.5-6.0. After assessing each student's level, we will assign them to a suitable tutor. Our Students generally prefer a regular class schedule (e.g. Tues & Thurs at 2 PM).

While we provide a suggested rough curriculum focusing on grammar and expressions for each level, we encourage you to lead the class utilizing your professional skills.

Each 40-minute session takes place over Zoom, and the tuition fee of one session, including completion of feedback sheet. The fee is transferred via PayPal based on the current US-Korean currency rate.

Below is a quick overview of the expectations for both tutors and our academy: 1. The company recruits students from South Korea who are preparing for the IELTS test. As we have more and more students to register, we can guarantee many sessions. 2. We arrange the first trial class with these students, after they complete the level test. 3. We encourage students to register and arrange their further classes with the tutor. 4. Tutors conduct the classes and provide a brief report (less than 200words, detail form to be provided post-contract) after each course. 5. The company distributes the latest IELTS speaking materials and curriculum to tutors. 6. While tutors will follow the class flow as suggested by the company, the course details will be at the tutor's discretion. 7. Tuition fees are transferred every two weeks (currently via PayPal) and are based on the short reports submitted by tutors.
Requirements

- Teaching experience in IELTS speaking - Native English Speaker - A valid passport holder or origin nationality of the following countries: US, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia and Canada - Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university - TEFL Level 5 - Through knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the school’s policies and procedures - Strong moral values and self-discipline
