We have exciting employment opportunities within our expanding English training centre. Our main office is located in the bustling city of Wuhan, China… home of the Yellow Crane Tower and hot dry noodles!

Key Job Details
• Full time total weekly hours: 40 hours per week over five days (due to class scheduling classes may be on evenings and/or weekends)
• Teaching hours: Maximum 22 hours per week
• 31 day paid holidays per year. Vacation during all Chinese National Holidays as stipulated by Chinese laws and regulations (roughly three weeks scheduled per year)
Qualifications & Job Requirements
• Age: 21-50
• Nationality: Native speaker (US, UK, Australian, Canadian preferred)
• Degree: Bachelor degree or above (Major in education or teaching preferred)
• Other qualifications: TEFL/TESOL/CELTA/DELTA (training can be arranged)
• One year teaching experience is preferred but not required
Salary and Welfare
• 16,000-20,000 RMB per month after tax (depending on experience and ability)
• Additional 150 RMB per hour if teaching more than 22 hours per week. During July and August our teachers assist with Summer Camps and therefore work more hours leading to an increase in income.
• One bedroom apartment with living room and bathroom provided. Free utilities (electricity, water, gas, Wi-Fi, furniture and household electric appliances).
• Airport pickup and assistance getting situated
• Free work evening meal if working past 6pm
• One annual return ticket after completion of one year contract (maximum 10,000RMB)
• 12 month contract, renewable upon mutual agreement after completion of first year
• Sponsor and assistance obtaining Foreigners Work Permit & Legal Z Entry Visa

• Performance incentives and bonuses based on evaluation by Teaching Manager
Responsibilities
• Tailor lessons in accordance with student needs and expand curriculum beyond provided textbooks
• Administer midterm and final speaking exams
• Administrative tasks such as providing student feedback (grades, comments, parent meetings)
• Plan and participate in various school events throughout the semester including international culture activities, lectures, speech competitions, mock exams etc.
• Attend all scheduled training and staff meetings
• Teaching is co-planned and taught with a Chinese English teacher

Wuhan, located in the center of China, has more than 10 million people and over 1 million university students. The city has more than 7 subway lines with at least 10 more under development. A• English School is located in Hanyang District (a district of Wuhan filled with international manufacturing companies, universities and expatriate living communities). Wuhan is much more affordable than Beijing or Shanghai.

Wuhan has everything, from great food, restaurants, parks, nightlife, supermarkets with international brand food, to huge international shopping malls and many cultural events.
