DescriptionWe are looking for a lively, creative, and fun certified TEFL teacher to join our small and friendly language school in Tena, Ecuador–right in the heart of the Amazon rainforest.
Our school has been running successfully for over 18 years, offering English classes at all levels–from beginner children (age 6 plus) to teenagers and adults up to B2 level. Classes usually run Monday to Thursday, 2:30 pm–8:30 pm, leaving your mornings and weekends free to explore waterfalls, caves, and the incredible rainforest around Tena.
Beyond the classroom, we regularly organize extracurricular activities in English: rainforest adventures, cooking workshops, arts and crafts, and group games. If you enjoy bringing energy and creativity into your lessons, you’ll feel right at home here.
This position also offers the chance to improve your Spanish while living in a vibrant Amazonian town.
Details:
- Start date: Immediate
- Hours: 15–25 hours per week (with the chance for up to 24 hours when the owner is away)
- Pay: $8.00/hour
- Requirements: TEFL certification. A native level English speaker with basic Spanish is preferred.

Requirements- TEFL Level 5 certification
- Experience is helpful but not essential
