DescriptionWe are a reputable company who has been teaching ESL students for over 10 years. In order for us to process your application further we require the following things: current cv, head and shoulders photo, and also a one-minute video introducing yourself, together with a script detailing why you believe you would be an asset to Wise and our students.
Now, a little bit about ourselves:
We are an English language teaching company with our Head Office in Hong Kong and general office in Beijing China. We teach 6-18 year olds and some adult students, in a 1:1 environment on line. We have our own textbooks and lesson plans, so you don't have to prepare them yourself. Our classes are held in Beijing time from 1800-2100 Monday to Friday; and any time on the weekends. We are looking for a teacher who can commit to 10-15 hours per week initially, and if the teacher shows that they are engaging new students through trials, retaining them, and receiving positive responses from students and parents, we can increase the hours to 20•. We pay in US$ every two weeks through PayPal. Our rates depend on the complexity of the classes and the age of the students but the range is from $16-$22 per 50 minute class. We anticipate teachers to take a range of classes within this range for K-12 students. Our classes are 25 or 50 minutes, and we usually offer homework to be completed by the student after class. Not extensive homework, maybe some form of writing depending on ability and age. We try to make sure that our teachers have all the support they need, through our assistants, to educate our amazing students from K-12.
