I finished my schooling through Cambridge international where I received an average of 85% in the following subjects;
1. English Language
2. English Literature
3. Afrikaans Language and Literature
4. Mathematics Extended
5. International history
6. Geography
7. Business studies

I joined the summer camp program with Vivaling in 2019. The camps typically happen between June and August and consist of an intensive lesson program in which students join daily lessons on set topics that include intensive grammar, games and activities.

Skyeng is an Online ESL company based in Russia that focuses on adult students typically working on their business language skills in preparation for international conferences. I joined them in 2019 and have worked with them since. During this time I have conducted over 1,300 classes to adult students on a broad range of categories from IELTS preparation, to copywriting and editing work. My biggest success story with Skyeng comes from when I tutored and helped a student enter an international freight forwarding company where she won beating other contestants from native English countries such as the US and UK. We spent many hours working on her entry essay, speech and other presentations.

In 2019 I joined the "coach mentor" program where I trained to take new teachers in the school under my wing and show them how the company works. Since then I have worked closely with new recruits - training them for their online teaching journeys.

In 2018 I started on my journey with Vivaling teaching a range of English lessons to a wide range of students based mostly in France, Singapore, Germany and Northern African territories. My students vary in age (my youngest being 5 years old and the oldest being 67).

With Vivaling I conduct an extensive list of lesson types helping my students with their grammar, pronunciation as well as with exam preparation for English exams such as the IELTS, Cambridge and TOEFL tests. I create all my own lesson plans and have achieved great success in helping students with their language levels.

I kicked off my Online ESL teaching work shortly after arriving back in South Africa. I joined TutorABC and worked night shift mostly (11pm - 8am) giving a variety of different types of English lessons to students based in Asia.

I started my TEFL journey working Monday - Fridays as an English teacher at a private school in Bangkok, Thailand. During this time I gave English lessons to classes with 30+ students in it. I worked mainly with students aged 10 - 12 years old - However, I often acted as a substitute teacher to classes of all ages in both English language lessons - as well as for a variety of other subjects ranging from History to Science and Geography.

I worked part time as one of a private language centers head teacher in Samut Sakhon, Thailand.

My key responsibilities in this position included but weren't limited to;

1. Organise teachers schedules
2. Host meetings amongst the staff
3. Open and close the center for the working day
4. Lesson plan and preparation
5. Conduct private ESL lessons to small groups aged 7 - 25+
