Experience
After passing the Pareto Law Graduate Entry Exam, I was approached by ITECH Managed Services. I was excited about their mission to become the biggest MSP for Managed IT & Print in the SMB and education sectors; drawn to the opportunity to develop essential skills and effect change in a small business.
My Key responsibility was to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to the account management of successfully closed deals. This process started by discovering and approaching new business leads to arrange face-to-face/virtual meetings with key stakeholders. After discovering the client's requirements and key pain points in the meeting, I would design a business proposal that outlined how our services could solve IT problems in their business. Once this was complete, I would organise another meeting to present the proposal, negotiate the price, and sign the relevant contracts through a variety of sales techniques. The final step was to arrange and organise the installation of any new infrastructure. I was then responsible for managing the accounts of all new business deals I acquired, totalling 105 accounts over the 3 years.
Upon completing my Level 3 Sales Apprenticeship in November 2022, I volunteered for the additional role of internal sales coach in addition to my other responsibilities, which I continued for the remainder of my employment. This involved designing additional training materials and running weekly training sessions/daily lunch-and-learn sessions for junior employees. I continuously tracked and monitored learners' progress before reporting progress to the sales manager every week.
