Experience
Over the last two years I have worked for a Korean Beauty Company, which is based in South Africa. I compiled blog posts and curated social media content. Additionally, I sold products and assisted customers, both online and in person at several events.
I served as a legal clerk during this period, working under 4 attorneys. I consulted clients, judges, magistrates and advocates. I drafted a great amount of legal documents (affidavits, summons and particulars of claims, contracts, title deeds, leases, etc).
During this period I was a freelance french tutor to two young learners (age 8-12). I taught basic conversational french (greetings, introductions, common questions etc), numbers, days of the week, verb conjugation (present tense of basic common verbs: to be, to do, to have), and more.
During this period I was a volunteer at Maris Stella High School (Durban, South Africa), teaching non-english speaking (Zulu speaking) adult students English language and reading skills. I taught 3 different individuals, one-on-one in a classroom, assisted them in completing and understanding multiple books, and engaging in basic English conversational skills.
During this period I was part of a volunteer programme (Makgasa Reading) at my high school in Gaborone, Botswana. We assisted young disadvantaged learners (ages 6-12) in learning the English language, through conversation and reading. I tutored 3 students over the course of 2 years.
