- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. Lyndsay’s enthusiasm for TEFL was obvious and she transferred it to the course attendees. She explained things well and gave feedback on how we could improve our teaching. There was a range of activities.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. My facilitator was Wikus. He not only facilitated on the English language but also gave us tips and tools for being a teacher and living abroad. He gave us scenario based examples and we had to come up with solutions thereon. The classroom sessions were not only interactive but were coaching sessions too. And indirectly, the experience also made me reflect on how I can improve in my current job (I'm a facilitator in my workplace :-)). I loved the exercises he used for transferring knowledge, the group work which made me learn from other individuals and the warmers which put me on my toes (in a good way). Monday morning, the first thing I did was to share this experience with my colleague and he was taken by it and also wants to do the course. I am enabled and equipped only by the classroom sessions thus far. :-)
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The venue was amazing, welcoming and professional. Our lecturer Baphiwe, was patient with us, energetic, and explained everything fully until each of us were taught everything efficiently. She also gave us constructive criticism and it helped with bettering our practical activities. Apart from that our class was so enthusiastic about the course and everyone helped eachother and had fun!
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. She was so enthusiastic about teaching us and telling us about other countries and how amazing it is to teach those kids, and explaining every detail about lesson plans. It made me want to jump on a plane at that very moment and start teaching in english.
