- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. All round I was very satisfied with all the elements of the course and came away feeling that I had made good progress. I had a much better understanding of what the outcomes of the whole TEFL course would be, the location was good, the tutor excellent and the other students were great to work with.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the TEFL Tutor? A. He was very engaging as a teacher. He paced the sessions really well and was sensitive to the needs and expectations of the group. He clearly knew and had put into practice what he was teaching and modelled good practice in his approach.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the TEFL Tutor? A. The lady who gave the seminar, Luan, was really professional. She was also very interesting and engaging and I feel like I learnt a lot and I got some really good practical experience since we had to teach 2 lessons. I feel very prepared for a real classroom teaching experience. The seminar also had some really good tips and pointers for new TEFL teachers. I really enjoyed it.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I’ve learnt much more than I expected too, it was a rather fully engaged class which was so beneficial to me as I had trouble standing in front of the class at first, by the end of the 2-day course, I was in front of the class with full confidence.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the TEFL Tutor? A. She was enthusiastic, she has helped not only me but everyone in the class. Her engagement was truly amazing!
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. It provided a lot of insight into the practical side of teaching which included lesson preparation and importantly the level of interaction required between the teacher and students.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the TEFL Tutor? A. Rene had a great attitude and energy. She is knowledgeable and could speak from personal experience. She was patient and understanding and always ensured every student was included throughout the course.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the course? A. Harvey was an excellent teacher from the beginning of the course. Making a bunch of strangers feel quickly at ease with one another and ready to succeed. The course was well structured and the individual components were well directed, the subjects were easy to follow but were challenging at the same time. The content of the course was manageable considering there was a lot of information to take in over the 20 hours. Harvey's teaching method and his facilitation gave me the confidence to play to my strengths while identifying my weaknesses. I felt very fortunate to have been thrown together with the other potential TEFL teachers, I felt we had great fun, worked well in groups to achieve objectives. I would recommend The TEFL Academy to others considering training as an ESL teacher.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The classroom element was engaging, well paced and seemed to provide an excellent overview of many aspects of TEFL.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the TEFL Tutor? A. He taught well, always responded positively to questions and to the interaction. He ensured that the two days were well paced and interesting and left us looking forward to using the skills we had learned.
