- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The course content was engaging from start to finish. I thought that it was just the right amount of material to get through. Neil was excellent for giving the course and we had just the right balance of listening and activities.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the TEFL Tutor? A. Neil was excellent. He completely engaged with the class even though we were a wide variety of ages and backgrounds. He was interesting, helpful, patient and kept things moving at just the right pace.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The teacher, Richard Lewington, was a great guide into the world of teaching; he not only gave us great lessons and real-life applications of the theory we'd been learning to that point, but his feedback was also excellent and he really did do what he could to answer all of our questions as best he could. His eleven years' teaching experience really shone through in the way he showed us.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. As mentioned before, he really helped us with the real-life applications of theory; he also helped us with actually finding a job, answering tricky interview questions, and optimizing applications. I attended five interviews and found a job in the four days since the course's end; he really gave us the confidence we needed to make it professionally.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The course covered all my expectations in terms of an introduction to TEFL. Given the volume of material covered, I am amazed that it was completed in the time frame allowed. For me, the bonus was meeting and working with a very amiable and friendly peer group, who I look forward to meeting again.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the TEFL Tutor? A. Emma was extremely well presented, was perfectly personable, extremely knowledgeable and incredibly patient.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The classroom content was extremely helpful. I feel like I have benefitted from the class instead of just doing an online course. This is innovative and provides a human aspect which makes asking for help and assistance for the course/teaching overseas much more enjoyable and helpful. Going on this TEFL journey, I feel that I will be well equipped to teach abroad as all the challenges, teaching techniques and methods have been cleared up for me.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the TEFL Tutor? A. Wikus was an excellent lecturer! He gripped us from the get-go and made us enjoy the activities and content we were learning. He engaged with students and helped answer all our questions and iron out any challenges we might face as a TEFL teacher. He had brilliantly put everything into perspective for the class. It was a great experience from a great teacher and this course was overall extremely helpful.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The Classroom element was really above and beyond. I was nervous beforehand as I only saw the timetable, but did not have an idea of the teacher or other students. However, Tünde was an amazing teacher who was knowledgeable, approachable and friendly. Because the class was also a suitable number of people (around 21), it made it more of a friendly and safe environment to get to know other students and feel comfortable. The activities set out really helped to understand what has been taught in the different Units.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the TEFL Tutor? A. Tünde was exceptional: Friendly, knowledgeable, approachable and overall amazing. She made the effort to get to know everyone's names and made sure the classroom environment was a friendly and safe one for everyone to participate.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. There was this teamwork within this group and we got on very well. Our instructor, Linda, was always there to guide us and made sure we learn all the necessary theory and real-life teaching practice. I specifically enjoyed the Teaching Practice element of the course. I feel that I am now equipped to tackle the world of TEFL. I can't wait to stand in front of my future students and practice what I have learnt from TEFL Academy.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the TEFL Tutor? A. Linda was such a darling - she had all the qualities of a good instructor/teacher: apathetic, organised, knowledgeable about the content of the course and willing to go the extra mile to ensure that we were comfortable within our groups. I am looking forward to recommending anyone wanting to do a Tefl course to The Tefl Academy.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. It was incredibly well taught and well paced so that everything we did was a logical progression from the last thing. I felt mentally stimulated the whole time (which is impressive for the amount of time you are in the classroom) and breaks and changes of energy were very well timed in order to keep class engagement high. There was a very lovely atmosphere in the class and I felt very comfortable answering questions and working with people. Teacher was one of the best teachers I've had.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the TEFL Tutor? A. Sarah was a brilliant teacher who was completely at ease with the class and brought the class at ease with her immediately. That rapport she built up lasted throughout the course. No one was ever made to feel stupid-- stuff was taught in such a way that everyone had the knowledge they needed to carry out exercises. When people had interesting or challenging questions she always did her best to answer them.
