- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The instructor was fantastic can, I feel like she showed us how to teach through her methods of teaching. She was great at getting the whole class involved and making everyone feel comfortable and at ease. After completing the classroom course I have a greater understanding of how to approach all aspects of teaching from lesson planning to actually facilitating a lesson. I have greater appreciation for how to facilitate peolple learning instead of teaching/lecturing.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL tutor? A. The tutor really knew what she was talking about and she was able to explain everything in a way everyone could understand. Her methods of teaching really opened my eyes to how to approach teaching young kids with no English to adults with varying levels of English. She was able to make everyone feel comfortable and involved and could answer any question anyone had and welcomed our questions.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. Thoroughly interesting, great teacher, a good number of people (12) in the class - not too many and not too few, I felt that a great deal of information was covered. Initially I thought a 10 hour day would be too much but I think the days were structured in a way that made it feel a lot less than 10 hours.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL tutor? A. Friendly tutor, well paced class, good way of relaying information, talked to us about other things during breaks so we got to know him in more than a tutor-student way, was approachable, encouraging and positive, and very knowledgable
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The classroom element of the course gave me a full understanding of what it's like to be an English language teacher, how best I can manage a classroom and my students when I start to teach.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL tutor? A. From my past experiences of being taught by teachers, I believe the best experience I've had so far was that of the 20 hours classroom TEFL course given by Ms Su. She made the class interesting and created a conducive atmosphere that made it easier for me to learn new things which gave me a feeling of satisfaction.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. Emma is a great teacher and it was not easy keeping 19 students alert over 2 days. Felt like we were given a realistic overview of lesson scenarios teaching different ages and abilities which to me, was the most important aspect to get a feel for standing up as a teacher. Emma was also very patient as it was a lively audience asking numerous questions
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL tutor? A. Emma was very 'real'. I liked that about her. And when giving feedback it was always constructive and made us know what teaching skills would be useful and how the audience would perceive our different styles.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. Our teacher - Mark - prepared an excellent professional course. The balance of individual work, group work and lector's explanations was perfect. Our teacher managed to create a friendly and effective working atmosphere and to maintain it for both days of the training. I learned a lot of new useful methods of language teaching, many great hints. Teacher's feedback after our teaching practice was positive, supportive and very useful. Course's location and setting was well-thought. Group's size felt just right for our purposes.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL tutor? A. Mark is a highly professional and friendly tutor. The course itself and the way it was presented by Mark were great examples of how teaching has to be done.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I was very pleased with the course over the two days and the teacher. The course gave me good confidence in TEFL and reinforced my passion for English and teaching.
