- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I really enjoyed the classroom element as it pushed my into standing in front of a class and teaching a topic. This I found quite challenging but very rewarding as I can be quite a shy person and won't do something with out an extra push and this class the teacher and students gave me the push and support that I needed.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. Rachel Thornberry was a treat to have. She was enthusiastic and tried to get us all involved in what was happening. She made us aware of mistakes she had made in her early days and how she changed her approach to teaching as she grew more experienced. I really enjoyed taking this class with her.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. Excellent tutor, perfectly organized class, no waste of time at all ! Tutor very, approachable, encouraging , perfectly designed activities , I learned much more than expected . Also, the group of participants was very interesting and diverse, proactive, all the group activities were really helpful , very good learning experience.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. Excellent tutor, perfectly organized , very approachable and professional, covered so many topics in such a short time, no moment of wasting time , 10 hours every day passed like 1 hour ! I wish I had a whole week of such an excellent tutoring !
- Q. Why did you choose The TEFL Academy over any other course provider? A. Met the standard 120-hour requirement often stipulated by potential employers in many job recruitment adverts. Also it included some observed teaching practice which was met by the classroom component part of this course. When I researched suitable courses these two conditions were recommended and in this particular "combined" course satisfied. Another point worth mentioning is the website itself was very clear, simple and well laid out. This inspired confidence that it was well-organised about its aims and objectives and its methodology. Thirdly, the course was very competitive cost-wise and met my budget and time schedule.
- Q. How satisfied you were with the classroom element of the course? A. I thought the teacher had a lovely personality and was very patient and kind with her student trainees. The course was well-organised and structured. There was a very conducive atmosphere for learning which was relaxed but focused. The use of multiple resources such as slide-projectors for communicating information, games for injecting fun and a spirit of participation, tool-boxes, further recommended reading and, most importantly of all, actual observed teaching practice with other fellow trainees. The presence of lots of breaks made the learning manageable in bite-size chunks and made us reflect, discuss in groups and then prepare better for the next exercise or lesson in order to ensure we had digested the learning that had come prior. That is to say, it had solid development and therefore a logical and clear structure. I could not fault the course, the atmosphere and the ease at which we were all accepted and integrated by our helpful teacher trainer. It was thorough, concise and delivered on the fundamentals on how to prepare, plan and execute a lesson.
- Q. How satisfied you were with your TEFL Tutor? A. I thought she did an outstanding highly commendable job. She was very accessible, and always supremely focused on the lesson at hand. She had a pleasant nature and was always very approachable, telling us not to worry too much about the breadth, depth and scope of all the information, that we would learn and digest it over time.
- Q. How satisfied you were with the course handouts? A. The course handouts were well-laid-out, concise and well-documented by examples, technical vocabulary or meta-terms and simplified the core issues to consider in teaching any given language lesson on whatever topic to whatever group of students.
- Q. How satisfied you were with the classroom element of the course? A. I absolutely loved the weekend course! It was well structured and extremely helpful. Corin was a wonderful tutor and managed to keep my interest peaked for the entire tome with his positive energy and wealth of knowledge. There was a lot to take in, but due to the delivery of the information through a range of activities, mediums and methods, it wasn't overwhelming and was quite inspiring. I'm really looking forward to completing the online part and applying the skills I have learnt.
- Q. How satisfied you were with your TEFL Tutor? A. As previously mentioned, I loved Corin's energy and his delivery/ structure of the information was fantastic. Corin was very inspiring and has fueled my motivation develop as a teacher and progress with teaching English.

Joanna the facilitator was well prepared and demonstrated/ articulated course structure / outline for the 2 day workshop and provided excellent teaching aides. Presentation of subject matter showed high competency level aptitude of instructor
- Q. How satisfied you were with your TEFL Tutor? A. Exceptional capability . Tutor had enormous amount of understanding of the course work. Tutor was very helpful in assisting with our presentation lesson and had a wide experience of knowledge to assist us in making our Lesson presentation creative and meaningful.
- Q. How satisfied you were with the classroom element of the course? A. I found the course well laid out and informative. I also found the course to be challenging but not overwhelming. The teacher, Sharon, was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and approachable.
