- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I had a lot of fun during the TEFL weekend. There was only nine of us so it was very easy to get to know people and become comfortable within the group. The TEFL trainer was extremely pleasant and enthusiastic and broke down the various elements of the course really well. I felt that I took a great deal away with me and I have a better understanding of how to teach English in the classroom. I also feel that attending this weekend course will greatly help me with the online modules. It was a great way to begin the programme and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. In my opinion, I don't think we could have gotten a better TEFL tutor. She was extremely pleasant and enthusiastic. She was incredibly helpful and gave us many additional resources that we could use. Although we covered a great deal of topics, I felt that nothing was ever rushed and each individual in the class was given ample time and opportunity to learn the new information as well as to show what they had learned in the form of a teaching practise. She made everyone feel welcome and it was lovely meeting her.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The classes were so helpful and extremely informative but they were also really good fun! Our teacher not only explained concepts and methods really well, she employed them really naturally while teaching and I think that helped us all to learn faster. And it certainly didn't feel like we were there for 10 hours each day!
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. She's such a good teacher - she was positive and encouraging throughout, highly knowledgeable and always willing to answer any questions.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I thought the tutor, Debbie (H) was incredibly inspiring. Her delivery of the lessons was interesting and kept me wanting to learn more, the pace of delivery was excellent, her voice was clear, she didn't waste time, we were kept busy with no time for anyone to mess around. It's the best course I've ever been on and I've been on a lot!
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. She was incredibly inspirational! A very effective communicator. Her body language was good, her voice was clear and not too fast.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The teacher was brilliant, held our attention very well throughout such long days of learning. The content was extremely interesting also. We were pushed out of our comfort zone, which was uncomfortable but very welcomed by all and was brilliant fun!
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. Chris was fantastic, extremely helpful and passionate about teaching. His energy did not falter once during the 20 hours. Extremely helpful, funny, innovative.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The course covered all elements of Language development including grammar, listening, reading,writing,speaking etc in addition to the problems that might occur with larger classes at different levels. Lesson planning and teaching exercises were included so that we acquired a better understanding of what is required. Lots of questions were asked and answered on the two days of the course so that we had a good overview of what it is like to teach in different countries as the tutor was well experienced in a lot of travelling and teaching. This made the course both academic and more interesting.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. The tutor was very confident and professional making us feel at ease irrespective of our qualifications and experience. As well as the English academic input, he was very flexible when questions were asked and discussions took place before returning to the subject. He had excellent inter personal skills giving us a good overall picture over the two days re teaching abroad. He was very positive yet constructive in his approach following lesson planning and individual teaching presentations.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I was very satisfied with the classroom/practical side of the course as it gave me a lot of insight I would not have obtained if I just did the whole course on-line. I also got tips and ideas from other students regarding how to teach.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. My TEFL Tutor was fantastic, she was enthusiastic, humorous and really put us at ease. She explained the topics well and gave us great feedback.
