- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. i liked the fact that the classroom part has been put into this course as i am new to teaching and it has given me lots of ideas on how to approach the teaching environment, i feel it has helped me so much. i would strongly recommend this stays as part of the learning process.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. Emma was amazing, her approach to teaching is very fun and it makes you want to learn and it draws you in, i never found myself drifting away into a trace i was always engaged and everyone was involved in the lesson.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The classroom element had plenty of variety, which is essential to keep everyone motivated for the duration. The class size (19) was a great number as there was plenty of people to mix with in group work, but you were still able to get one-on-one time too. The information was well presented in digestible segments, which allowed us to get through the intensive course without becoming demotivated.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. Our teacher, Ann, was very supportive and encouraging. She created a great learning environment which eased nervousness, and enhanced the learning experience. She was very consistent and gave great feedback throughout.
- Q. Why did you choose a course with a classroom element included rather than a 100% online course? A. I felt that face-to-face engagement would be the best way to introduce myself to TEFL. I think the intensive course ignites the motivation to continue with the online course and lessens the chance of signing up, and not following through with it. It is also a great opportunity to speak with the people on the course, to compare notes, to share plans and to exchange contact details to stay in touch for peer support during the online course, and possible when abroad too.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The tutor, Kelly, made the course very interesting, educational, informative and fun. She was professional throughout and inspired me and the rest of the group with confidence.

The staff member who originally contacted me was very knowledgeable and I received quick responses to any email queries I had.
- Q. Why did you choose a course with a classroom element included rather than a 100% online course? A. Because I understood many employers prefer face to face teaching to have been included in the teaching. Also, it helps me to understand what the course involves and motivates me.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The course was well structured and provided a strong introduction to topics within the syllabus. Having a tutor available made certain subjects seem less daunting since we knew that we had support and ask questions. In addition to this, it was good to be able to observe a teaching style. Having someone demonstrate how to interact and engage with students provided a model for how we can work as teachers in the future.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. Our teacher kept an appropriate pace so as to cover all necessary topics. She was also aware of the mood of the classroom, particularly in regards to the time of day and when we would be most engaged. She structured the course around these moods; for example, saving grammar for the Sunday morning rather than pushing ahead and completing that section last thing on the second day. In addition to this, Charlotte used a variety of activities and focus, in order to ensure that different types of learners were catered for.
- Q. Why did you choose The TEFL Academy over any other course provider? A. The TEFL Academy is a widely recognised brand and the qualifications are valid in the majority of countries that I am interested in visiting.
