- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I was very pleased with the classroom element. Philly is a very good teacher and has a wealth of knowledge. She kept the lessons interesting and very informative. I felt she treated everyone equally and we all benefited from her expertise.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. rnPhilly was really good. She made us all feel very confident and she taught very well. Everything was clear and if we were unsure she very quickly was able to clarify any questions we had. She managed the 2 days very well, we didn't fall behind and we certainly weren't rushed, it was just right. She planned both days very well and I can't think of anything she could have missed, she covered everything.rn
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I felt the trainer John was very good. The course was very well planned and informative. It had different types of learning elements, all which helped to maintain the attention and commitment from the students.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. John was enthusiastic and obviously had a wealth of teaching experience. The course was reasonably hard and non stop, but John was able to help all of us keep on track.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The course was very well structured. The pace of the course was just right despite the fact it was quite demanding. But somehow I felt manageable which boosted my confidence. As being a non-native speaker, I was a little bit worried if I can keep myself up with the native speakers. In fact the peers were very supportive, and my knowledge of grammar and pronunciation exercise were somewhat better than them. It was fun to challenge the activities. I learned lots of things working with the teacher and the peers.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. She presented the course in a pleasant manner;easy access but very professional. I was actually relieved to find that she had lived and taught in Japan, so that she was familiar with our culture as well as the weakness of the Japanese learners. It was really great.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The teacher was so experienced in the teacher role of tefl that she covered everything we would need to know about when teaching foreign students.She was also an excellent listener so when a question was asked , she would always demonstrate to the group the answer so everyone was involved. She kept us interested at all times . Thoroughly enjoyed the course and would definitely recommend this to other people who would like to train Tefl.We had a small group which was an advantage as we could cover more work which we didn't expect. Classroom was nice and plenty of room with comfortable seats.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. Excellent teacher. Well educated and an experienced traveler. A voice you could listen to forever and a day. Had empathy with candidates and so helpful when one had a problem. Ten out of ten for me.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. As a complete beginner to teaching it provided a very thorough introduction and gave a lot of opportunities for participation rather than just sitting listening to the teacher. Teacher was excellent, engaging and encouraging throughout. Very good to have the two teaching practice opportunities and good to teach in pairs, especially for me as I had never taught before.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. She was very engaging and warm and encouraged everyone to participate. She explained things very well and was always on hand during activities/ teaching preparation to offer advice and help if needed. She was very encouraging and positive and offered good constructive criticism of the teaching practice in a way which was very helpful. She gave lots of useful tips from her own experience of teaching.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I found the classroom element to be a highly rewarding experience on a number of levels. It is easy to see why it is a necessary part of the training. It shows the candidate just how much preparation and effort go into teaching as well as putting them in the position of the student which helps familiarize them with teaching methods from that viewpoint. The teaching style of the tutor was first rate, Joe very quickly put the class at ease and got us into the swing of things. I think his relaxed, straight forward and personal approach helped the class come together very nicely and got everyone to open up. Overall I was very happy with the course materials and activities and the way they were presented.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. I think that Joe's teaching style and methods of presentation were a large part of what made the course so accessible and informative. He led the class through a lot of complex concepts with skill and subtlety, He elicited a lot from the group which seemed to help us help each other through sharing our different experience and viewpoints. Also I feel that when teaching the class directly his explanations were clear and easy to follow. All in all I found the whole weekend to be extremely positive and this was in no small part down to the skill and knowledge of the Tutor
