- Q. Why did you choose The TEFL Academy instead of another TEFL company? A. I felt that it would allow me to practise teaching in the two day classroom course. Followed by perfecting the theory in the online course.
- Q. Did the course live up to your expectations? A. There was a lot of information to be provided and this was taught in a thorough manner. We were also given the opportunity to experience teaching which was great.
- Q. Do you have any comments about your TEFL trainer? A. Liz was friendly and answered any questions the class had. She also gave us a good insight into what it will be like as a TEFL teacher. She taught the content of the course very clearly and I have a very good understanding of everything that was covered.

- Q. Did the course live up to your expectations? A. A comprehensive run through of what is required of a TEFL teacher. Also very good information on what else can be undertaken if one decides to go into TEFL as a long term career. Lots of activities which motivate and engage the class throughout the weekend.
- Q. Do you have any comments about your TEFL trainer? A. Very experienced and knowledgeable tutor in Liz, who enabled the class to gel within the first 5 minutes of the weekend. She was very happy to answer questions and share stories/ advice of her own experiences as a TEFL teacher around the world. Very supportive of those in the class who lacked confidence too.
- Q. Did the course live up to your expectations? A. It was challenging but a great overall experience with a great overall experience. The Classroom element gave me a very thorough taste of what it is to be a TEFL teacher including lesson plans, what to incorporate and the methodology and style of teaching. The 2 days flew by and were full of all types of activities and practices. The lesson planning and practice sessions were a bit daunting but gave me a good taste of what to expect and highlighted areas where I can improve. I really enjoyed the German lesson, which really put us in the position of the students I may teach in the future. I was surrounded by a lovely group of people. Everyone in the group got involved, shared ideas and were very supportive of each other.
- Q. Do you have any comments about your TEFL trainer? A. Debbie was an excellent teacher and extremely approachable. We were all put at ease right from the beginning with a brilliant ice breaker. She provided us with lots useful information and was very knowledgeable about all things TEFL. Debbie gave us very thorough feedback after our teaching practice giving us large amounts of positive feedback and giving extremely useful advice as to how each of us can improve in our lessons. Questions were always encouraged and if we did not understand she always took time to explain things in a way we would understand. Thank you Debbie.
- Q. The website was very professional and the course included everything that I was looking for in order become qualified as a TEFL teacher. A. The course included a 20 hour classroom course on top of the 100 hour online course that was in a location and at a time which was convenient for me. It also had some very good testimonials.
