Oxdon British School (OBS) is located in the scenic city of Liyang in Jiangsu Province. It is a 5A Resort City and is renowned for its Tianmu Lake and Nanshan Bamboo forest. Besides the scenery, Liyang is also famous for its food with unique dishes not to be found anywhere else in China, let alone the world. Although small in size, the city is rich in natural parks, amusement parks, and malls alike with activities that cater to all age groups. Liyang is also within half an hour’s drive or train ride away from Nanjing and within one hour’s of Hangzhou, Changzhou, and Wuxi. Even Shanghai can be reached in around one and a half hours. It has a gaotie (high speed rail) station that makes even distant areas of China accessible in just a few hours. In sum, it is truly an ideal location for the social busy-bees, the adventure seekers, and the more stay at home types alike.

OBS is currently recruiting enthusiastic British-accent English language teachers for all age groups, specifically those that are familiar with teaching Phonics and Cambridge English e.g. KET, PET, FCE.
