Internship Overview
First time travelling and teaching abroad? Don’t you worry! From getting all your documents, visas and travel arrangements ready, to arriving in China, receiving training and orientation, and delivering your own English classes, this program was designed to show you the ropes of teaching and travelling abroad.
Follow in the footsteps of thousands of English teachers and kick start your TEFL career through this extraordinary internship program in Sichuan, China. You will receive full training and orientation on teaching and travelling in China, as well as gain hands-on experience teaching English in educational institutions ranging from primary schools to university level. Now we know you don’t want to spend all of your time bringing the world together, changing the lives of young children, and conducting meaningful English classes that will inspire generations to come. That’s why you are only required to teach a maximum of 15 hours per week from Monday to Friday. The rest of the time is for you to explore!
Internship Details
Benefits:
- RMB 6,000 Monthly salary (With Sichuan’s low cost of living, this salary can go a long way)
- FREE accommodation
- RMB 3,000 Flight contribution (on completion of contract)
- RMB 2,000 Reimbursement in visa fees (upon arrival in China)
- Free visa guidance to obtain legal work visa
- Program is supported by the Sichuan Government
- Health and medical insurance provided
- 4 – 5-month internship opportunity
- Get experience teaching ages from 2 -22 years old (university, high, middle, and primary school or kindergarten in Sichuan)
- You will teach a maximum of 15 hours per week (Mon – Fri)
- Airport pick up
- Full orientation and training upon arrival
- 24/7 Support team to assist you in China
- 1 – 2 organised social events for interns each semester
