In my attendance roll at this school it was my responsibility to ensure all registers were submitted on time, make contact with parents of pupils not in school who did not leave a message, request penalty notices from the LA and produce attendance reports for SLT, Governers and the local authority. In addition I was lead in organising and hosting meetings with parents and pupils regarding poor attendance.
In my Learning Mentor roll I was tasked with primarily mentoring those pupils who fell into the pupil premium category in order to ensure they was on track to achieve the same results as non-pupil premium pupils. I would be set a year group and then I would mentor that same group as they moved up year groups until they left school. As Detachment Commander of an Army Cadet Unit I was responsible for young people (aged 12 – 18) from very varied backgrounds, keeping in contact with Parents and Carers as well as attending regular meetings with other members of staff including the CEO of Lancashire Army Cadet Force.
I had cadets whom parents and care workers I needed to keep in regular contact with due to sensitive issues at home which I must keep confidential.

I have 6 Years experience teaching cadets lessons in Fieldcraft, Navigation, Skill at Arms, Drill, Adventure Training, Bushcraft, First Aid, Signals, Fitness, History of the ACF and the organisation of several extra-curricular adventurous activities. As Detachment Commander I also observed the lessons taught by my staff and gave them constructive feedback to ensure the quality of the teaching.
I was the team leader for the Lancashire ACF Nijmegen marches in 2018 where we won an award for most professional British Army team and I was the first team leader from Lancashire ACF to finish the marches without a single cadet dropping out due to illness or injury.
