Testimonials from our graduates
Take inspiration from their knowledge and experience of TEFL.
The TEFL Academy is the world's leading TEFL course provider. Our courses are designed to effectively teach our students the fundamental skills to enable them to be successful at teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL).
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The classroom element gave me the opportunity to learn what is expected in the online content as well as being able to have the opportunity to implement a lesson plan and perform it to the class rather than throwing myself in the deep end and doing it all online without any practical component to it. By doing the 20hr pressure course, I am slightly more confident in what's expected in teaching English to foreigners in a classroom setting.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the TEFL Tutor? A. Johanna was excellent! She was very engaging, knowledgable and approachable. You could tell she is passionate about her job and knows her stuff.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the course? A. I found the course leaving me greatly comforted about what is expected of a TEFL teacher. Our presenter Ms T Conradie was an engaging and skilled teacher. In spite of the extremely long days, it was made endurable because of Tanya’s uncompromising enthusiasm.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the course? A. The course was exciting with the content being simple and easy to understand. The facilitator had a wonderful manner and gave us all the attention we required. The group of people that came together were a fun lot of people with lots of different backgrounds.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The Classroom course was very interesting. It boosted my knowledge a lot and gave me the self-confidence I needed.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the TEFL Tutor? A. Yohan was and is a great tutor. He made the 20-hour classroom FUN and INTERESTING.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the course? A. I particularly enjoyed the Teacher (Tanya) and the group that I was with. The weekend was a very helpful way of reinforcing what I already knew and what I would still learn. The demonstrations given by Tanya were very practical and useful for further reference and the advice she was able to offer on interview questions (etc) was very helpful.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. Brendon used his extensive skills and experience to model how a TEFL teacher should teach, as well as enabling us to learn the maximum amount in the time we had in the classroom
- Q. How satisfied were you with the course? A. The atmosphere was amazing. The teacher was great, professional but really really fun and engaging. And the class was great. Everyone was so eager to head towards their goal and they were so sweet.
