- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. Two days is a very short period of time to introduce somebody who is completely new to a course, in this case TEFL, but I felt that over the two days I have learnt a great deal and have a had a very thorough introduction/overview of what TEFL consists of
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I felt that it was a great introduction to the online course and that I've gained some practical skills to deliver a lesson which I would not have gained from just doing the online course. Being taught lessons, from the point of view of a foreign student, really helped me to understand and empathise with how that might feel from a student perspective. It also helped me to imagine myself in the role of a teacher, which, again, I would not have gained if I had just done the online course. Really glad I did it.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL tutor? A. My tutor, Iona, was absolutely brilliant.She was very engaging and down to earth, which made the course a pleasure to attend. I feel that I've come away with a good understanding of Tefl and introductions to some of the online course.Thanks to Iona, I can't wait to get started with the online course and kick start my career as a Tefl teacher.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The classroom course exceed my expectations & improved my understanding of TEFL.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL tutor? A. My tutor was very Friendly and highly experienced.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The teacher was amazing, I learnt so many techniques in teaching and had so much fun at the same time. I got to meet amazing people and found out so much about the world. I also found so much information about finding a job anywhere around the world and teaching English. I found lots of new websites and learnt lots of new things I never knew about. Overall I wish the in class time was more than 20 hours, I really found it so useful and had a great time.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. Liz was amazing ! Fell in love with her personality and her way of teaching and involving us at all times. Present, practice, produce ! Teach, Test, Teach ! She showed us so many useful websites and her presentation was amazing. She showed us how important it is to always involve the children and how different TEFL teaching is than any other teaching.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I felt that both the Trainer, Charlotte, and the content provided were of a very high standard, and both exceeded my expectations. Having completed two degrees, including a Masters course at university, I felt that this course could easily have been offered by a university. Charlotte was very enthusiastic and clearly very knowledgeable in all aspects of her field (on a par with the best lecturers who instructed me at university), and these contributed to an excellently managed course that has left me extremely motivated as I enter into the online phase of this TEFL course. She is to be highly commended!
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. I was extremely impressed by my TEFL tutor, Charlotte, whose passion for TEFL and training others was amazing. Guiding a large group through such a broad range of topics and exercises is not an easy task yet Charlotte handled these with a high level of professionalism. She was calm and focused, and gave us very useful information that clearly is a result of her great experience in the field of TEFL. I don't think I speak only for myself when I say that we left the two day session feeling motivated and confident. I have been instructed by some highly qualified lecturers at university (Masters) and I am not exaggerating in the slightest when I say that she now ranks at the top level in my opinion of all HE instructors that I have been tutored by. Thank you very much Charlotte!
- Q. Is there anything you feel could be improved on the course? A. As I have remarked above, the course was of the highest standard, and having experienced university education, I believe that to expect an improvement to such an exemplary effort from Charlotte would be churlish in the extreme!
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The course very interesting and informative, and was much better than I had expected. In particular, I learnt a lot from the practice teaching. Two criticisms: we spent a bit too much time on the verb tenses grammar (much of which could be left until the online work), and it would have been useful to have had more time for our teaching practice preparation.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. The trainer had a friendly and helpful manner; she was highly articulate, and presented the material in an interesting way - thereby making the course very enjoyable. Just a minor point - I felt that she could perhaps have given a bit more feedback to our practice teaching, however we were running out of time.
