- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The course was laid out well , teacher knew the subject and was able to deliver it in both a fun and professional way. Also a good location.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. Our tutor knew his subject and was able to deliver it at the correct pace and gave everyone the opportunity to ask questions.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The classroom element of this course was beyond expectations. I feel I have learned so much over the 20 hour course. I am a teacher of art and design, so teaching English as a foreign language will have different challenges. I was concerned about my knowledge of grammar before the course, but we were given very specific information about different forms, and were able to practice these in a non-threatening way. I know I have to refresh my own knowledge of English grammar but the course made me more confident about my ability to do so.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. The tutor was an excellent teacher and delivered the course at the right pace, providing all the information we needed. He modelled good teaching practice throughout. I was able to reflect on my own practice as result of this course. The tutor was attentive and encouraging and taught at exactly the right level for the audience.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. Teacher Sara was really enthusiastic and could tell she enjoyed her job. She made the time fly by, had fun interactive methods of learning. Completely different to any learning situation, i.e. in college or university. Teacher was able to teach us how to teach by teaching us, being elicit, not telling us she was teaching. For example she would make comments on certain things and reiterate basically settings examples for us to follow without actually telling us to do so
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. She was lovely, very happy and very good at congratulating pupils on good answers, and also more to point praising them on answers that weren't necessarily spot on. Could tell she enjoyed her job. She had fun methods of learning and it was easy to learn how to do such things ourselves just from observing her one simple lesson on teaching us Hungarian which again was very fun! She told us a lot about her at the start which made us feel comfortable with her. and overall she was a funny friendly person passionate about teaching others and giving others motivation
- Q. Why did you choose The TEFL Academy over any other course provider? A. The website looked legit and easy to read good balance of pictures and text. Testimonials of past students really helped compel me to do the same. Seeing where they have come from and where their TEFL certificate has taken them.
- Q. Why did you choose a course with a classroom element included rather than a 100% online course? A. Wanted to learn with others, and also seeing something is practice is a lot better than learning on your own in an isolated environments. Classroom element has really kick started the course for me and made me want to complete the online course as fast as possible so i can go abroad and teach!
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I have never been in a teaching environment before. Before I came on this course I was very nervous and thought I would not really understand much. However, the teacher was very good and highly trained. I did not feel that the course was above me and that it was impossible.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. My TEFL Tutor John Nelson was exceptional. It really helped that he had a lot of experience. He was not demanding, or made anyone feel that they were stupid. His way of teaching was fantastic and he knew his topics very well. This gave all the students confidence. Never did he criticize in a derogatory way, he always gave constructive criticism, something that everyone needs.He was extremely patient and approachable.
- Q. Do you have any other comments about the course? A. I am extremely impressed with TEFL! What really impressed me was that you do not need to get a degree to do what you want to do, TEFL helps you the whole way. You almost feel that you have become part of a community with TEFL.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The course was very good. The teaching was very good: the tutor engaging and inspiring. The ground covered was sufficient. I suppose I am saying it was so enjoyable and useful I would have loved another day!
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. She was engaging and inspiring: she demonstrated solid knowledge and a wealth of experience: bringing all to life, she shared anecdotes and good humour and put across her point in the most interesting way. The taught in a way that 'walked the walk'. Whilst being clear and making points firmly she was never intimidating or unpleasant to any of us and created a safe place for learning.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The teacher was great The course was informative The level perfect The number of students just right The energy buzzing.
